BOTTOM LINE: The Minnesota Twins play the Colorado Rockies after Ryan Jeffers had four hits against the Rockies on Friday. Colorado is 23-74 overall and 11-36 in home games. The Rockies have gone 16-33 in games when they record eight or more hits.

Colorado reliever Tyler Kinley was able to extinguish the fire. He struck out the three-time All-Star, and newly minted All-Star Hunter Goodman gave the Rockies all the insurance they needed with a two-run homer in the bottom half of the inning.

The Twins are visiting LoDo for the first time since 2023. First pitch Friday is at 6:40 p.m. The Rockies and 9NEWS’ parent company TEGNA announced a deal in March to bring 10 Rockies games to KTVD Channel 20 this season. Five of the games are also on 9NEWS KUSA.
