Being a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame comes with a lot of perks, but Andre Johnson raved about his group chat with the rest of the Class of 2024.

The McNairs have long been involved in flag football with Janice McNair, wife of late Texans founder Bob McNair, playing what was then called Powder Puff football in college. Hannah McNair participated in the sport in graduate school and her young daughter Hunter is currently playing flag football in a boys’ league.

HOUSTON – Andre Johnson will be saluted Sunday by the Texans with a halftime ceremony as the retired legendary wide receiver will receiver his Pro Football Hall of Fame ring. Johnson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, in July as the first member of the franchise to earn that distinction.

The Houston Texans are calling Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts the AJ 80 Hall of Fame game, as they will be honoring the franchise’s first Hall of Famer throughout the afternoon. The main event will be the halftime ceremony when Johnson will receive his Pro Football Hall of Fame ring on the field.

Andre Johnson, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, encouraged girls to participate in football. He attended a screening of the documentary 'The Herricanes' and advocated for increased female involvement. The Houston Texans Foundation is sponsoring flag football teams in schools with plans to expand.
