Sherwood was a tiny bright spot for the Jets defense. He had a team-high 10 tackles, including one for loss, and a pass breakup. In addition, PFF credited Sherwood with a stop in the run game and he only allowed one catch for just eight yards.

Defensively, missed tackles, scheme, poor execution, and more, has been pointed to as part of the problem throughout 2024. Despite the Jets playing the Bills well in recent seasons such as in their 23-20 clash in Week 6, there was no desire in this one.
