McDonald's said Thursday that Taylor Farms is the supplier of the onions served on Quarter Pounders, which were pulled from the restaurant giant's menus in multiple states following a deadly E. coli outbreak.

Several fast food restaurants have taken the decision to remove onions from their menus as a precaution following the McDonald's E. coli outbreak.

Taylor Farms also issued a recall on its peeled, diced and whole peeled yellow onion packs “due to potential E.Coli contamination”
