The Rockies have nine wins. Nine. It's almost June. That calls for a deep dive into the numbers behind the disaster.

The Los Angeles Dodgers traded for Cincinnati Reds reliever Alexis Díaz after injuries had piled up and Díaz had lost trust at the back end of the Reds bullpen.

The Colorado Rockies found yet another new low Thursday afternoon.With their 2-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies at Coors Field, the Rockies fell to 8-42, marking the worst 50-game start in baseball's modern era (since 1901).
