HP is showcasing several new devices at CES 2025, including three impressive new members of the HP EliteBook family.

The EliteBook Ultra G1i looks particularly compelling, and we also get our first glimpse at HP's new OmniDesk PCs.

HP rebranded its entire laptop portfolio, and the Dragonfly became the EliteBook Ultra. There was just one problem. Other than the color, the Snapdragon-powered EliteBook Ultra was nothing like a Dragonfly.

On Monday, HP kicked off CES 2025 with a trio of updated business laptops in its EliteBook line-up, all featuring Intel's new Lunar Lake chips.

HP is discontinuing the HP Dragonfly brand of thin and light business-class notebooks, but it’s just the name that the company is retiring, not the idea, because the new HP EliteBook Ultra G1a picks up where the Dragonfly line left off.
