LeBron James reportedly sprained a ligament in his left knee during the Los Angeles Lakers’ final playoff game.

The injury occurred in the fourth quarter when James collided with Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo -- who was called for an offensive foul -- which sent him to the ground writhing in pain. The four-time champion was on the ground for a while, and immediately came out of the game where he could be seen limping to the sideline.

In his 21-year career, LeBron has never missed a playoff game, but the streak would have surely been snapped with a Lakers win in Game 5. According to reports, James suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in Tuesday's game that would have cost him the series.
