Ty Vaughn, 31, allegedly shot and killed his fiancé hours after searching "is it illegal to kill an illegal immigrant."

He is accused of fatally shooting his fiancé, then staging the scene to make it appear like the victim died by suicide.

Police say the suspect had repeatedly mentioned the victim’s immigration status without being asked during his interview.
