Stock index futures were mixed on Thursday, with Nasdaq futures rising sharply as a strong earnings report from Tesla (TSLA) brought cheer to investors.  S&P 500 futures (SPX) +0.4%, Nasdaq 100 futures (US100:IND) +0.

S&P 500 futures are up 0.4%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are down 0.1%. Nasdaq 100 futures are advancing 0.7%.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are on track to open higher Thursday as the U.S. stock market looks to rebound from a steep downturn yesterday.
