The United States, South Korea, Britain and Ukraine say North Korea has sent troops to Russia for possible deployment in Ukraine, a move that the White House said on Wednesday is in violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions.

So far, South Korea has helped Ukraine by providing arms to the U.S. and other countries. But South Korea's government said that could change with North Korean troops deploying for Russia.

KYIV, Ukraine -- American and South Korean officials said Wednesday that there's evidence North Korea has dispatched troops to Russia in a potential escalation of the nearly 3-year-old war with Ukraine.
