Wednesday was a homecoming at PPG Paints Arena for Plum native Pat McAfee. Joined by some Pittsburgh legends, music stars and sumo wrestlers, he took the stage in front of thousands of fans. Wearing his traditional black tank top, the popular and sometimes controversial sports talk show host was back in the 'Burgh.

Pittsburgh native and former NFL punter Pat McAfee brought his show to a sold-out PPG Paints Arena for his “Big Night Aht.” One highlight of the night: Five of the biggest name in Pittsburgh sports on the stage together.

It would have been the perfect Pittsburgh introduction for Aaron Rodgers. And it would have made perfect sense. Rodgers, who makes weekly in-season appearances on Pat McAfee's show, could have shown up at McAfee's live event in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night and announced to Steelers fans and the rest of the world that Rodgers is signing with the Steelers.
