Coach Steve Kerr said Thursday the 37-year-old two-time Kia MVP is expected to return for Friday’s game against Minnesota (10 p.m. ET, NBA TV) following a five-game absence nursing a left quadriceps contusion and muscle strain. He was not listed on the NBA’s injury report Friday morning.

The Warriors star looked sharp in his return to the court on Friday, but couldn’t do enough to get Golden State a win.
