Mitch Marner’s future with the Toronto Maple Leafs remains unresolved, but Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman believes both sides are facing a pivotal offseason that could lead to separation.

The Toronto Maple Leafs might carry a rather different roster into the 2024-25 season after another playoff collapse. The biggest pending free agent currently on the team is star winger Mitch Marner, who will enter free agency on July 1.
