The top 2024 draft pick hit his first spring training home run on Tuesday, the first of what the organization hopes will be many in a Cleveland uniform.

Cleveland Guardians second base prospect Travis Bazzana has gone 1-for-3 with a three-run shot across his brief taste of spring training action. Bazzana has also drawn three walks and only struck out twice.

Cleveland's top prospect absolutely crushed his first homer in the eighth inning on Tuesday. Statcast tracked the ball's exit velocity of 107.6 mph off the bat and estimated that it traveled 443 feet. Bazzana also recorded two walks in the game, showing that he's getting more comfortable in the box.

Where there’s mystery, though, there’s intrigue. And there’s plenty of that throughout Cleveland’s roster, not just in the rotation.
