Apple has launched a free servicing program to fix a small bunch of iPhone 14 Plus units that were affected by blank camera preview problem.

You’ll know if you have this particular camera problem, but to ensure your handset is covered, Apple has built a serial number checker. Just pop your iPhone 14 Plus’ serial number in there, and the site will tell you whether or not you’re eligible. You can find the serial number by opening the Settings app, tapping ‘General’ and then ‘About’.

Some batches of the Plus model of the iPhone 14 contain serial defects. Apple is now launching an exchange program for this.

If you are an iPhone 14 Pro user who has been having camera issues, you might be due a pleasant surprise courtesy of Apple. In a recent service update, Apple confirmed that the rear cameras on "a very small percentage" of iPhone 14 Plus devices may lack a functional preview feature.
