Former President Donald Trump is denying he praised Adolf Hitler as having done "some good things," as his former chief of staff and retired Marine general John Kelly was reported to have said this week.

The Atlantic reported this week that the former president wanted "the kind of generals Hitler had," and his former chief of staff said he made positive remarks about Hitler.

In an interview with the New York Times, former White House chief of staff John Kelly said Donald Trump has praised Adolf Hitler and called him a fascist.

Donald Trump has insisted that he’s actually the “opposite” of Adolf Hitler, after his longest-serving chief of staff John Kelly described him as a “fascist” who spoke fondly of the Nazi Germany dictator.
