Notre Dame and Pittsburgh opened the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament on Tuesday in dramatic fashion. Notre Dame trailed late but had a field goal to tie things up before a stop and controversial foul led to an eventual 55-54 victory.

It was called on Pitt big man Zack Austin, and Davis went to the line and hit the free throw to give Notre Dame the 55-54 win. It was quite the scene on Tuesday, and everybody looked stunned at the call. After the game, Pitt head coach Jeff Capel left no question about his thoughts, per Collin Ferguson of WPTS Sports.
