WWE Friday Night Smackdown airs on Friday nights at 8 p.m. There are several ways to watch with a free live stream. Friday, Dec. 12 will serve as the 50th episode of Season 27, and it will air on USA.

Nick Aldis invited a major WWE star to return to SmackDown tonight from his suspension. This week's episode of the blue brand will air live from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

You can stream “WWE SmackDown!” live or on demand without a cable subscription by using several streaming platforms that offer USA Network, including DirecTV (free trial) and Sling. fuboTV is currently not a viable option, due to the ongoing dispute with NBCU causing NBC-owned channels to be blacked out on the service.

WWE will tape back-to-back double episodes of RAW and SmackDown next week ahead of the holidays. Monday Night RAW in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is now listed as a combined RAW and SmackDown taping. Friday Night SmackDown in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is also advertised as a dual-brand taping.

WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on December 5. According to Jed Goodman, SmackDown averaged 1.063 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.24 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week's episode,
