According to the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, the city has seen about 230,000 visitors from Japan so far and expects it to be L.A.'s fifth largest overseas tourism market this year.

The New York Yankees are taking on more than the Los Angeles Dodgers in truly a World Series against billion-dollar stars Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of Japan.

There have been rumors that Shohei Ohtani could pitch in the World Series. His Dodgers teammate Tyler Glasnow basically shot that down.
