Square Enix seemingly remains committed to its newfound multiplatform approach and will continue releasing games across PC and all consoles in the future, according to Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki 'Yoshi-P' Yoshida.

Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida has said that Square Enix plans to release games simultaneously on Xbox going forward. In an interview with 4Gamer for Fantasian Neo Dimension, Yoshida, known by fans as ‘Yoshi-P’, said that Square plans to launch games on all platforms simultaneously “more and more.”

Square Enix is looking to boost the availability and accessibility of its games by ensuring future releases are "released simultaneously" on different platforms. Talking to 4Gamer, Final Fantasy 14 producer and director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida revealed Square Enix was looking to shift away from platform exclusivity,

PlayStation has drawn the ire of Xbox fans by securing exclusivity deals for Square Enix titles and keeping them off the platform, even to the detriment of Final Fantasy's sales numbers. Now Square Enix's Naoki Yoshida has confirmed more of the publisher's games will come to Xbox and PlayStation simultaneously in the future.
