Werder would retract that report later, noting, as Jane Slater did initially, that Eberflus is "held in high regard" for the position, but has not been hired yet.

Not only does it work for the Rooney Rule, it also makes sense that Matt Eberflus will want Andre Curtis here to oversee his secondary.
