The San Francisco 49ers are promoting Klay Kubiak from offensive passing game specialist to offensive coordinator, head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters

On the 49ers' coach roster, after Shanahan is listed as head coach, Chris Foerster is listed next as the run game coordinator and offensive line coach. Kubiak, who has been with the 49ers since 2021, is listed as the offensive passing game specialist.

The 49ers have only had one other offensive coordinator by title since Shanahan joined the team: current Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel
