The Clippers, missing Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac, fall just short against Boston.
Wednesday’s game between the Celtics and Clippers was highly entertaining. Boston required overtime to win despite having Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Derrick White in the lineup. The Clippers were down four starters (James Harden, Norman Powell, Kawhi Leonard, and Ivica Zubac), but the available players didn’t use that as an excuse.
Given the opportunity to become a starter, the 6-foot-4 guard of 10 seasons has helped the Clippers to fifth place in the West with a breakout effort.
The Celtics defeated the Clippers, 117-113, in OT. Top Performers – Boston Jaylen Brown – 25 points, 6 assists, 2 3PM Jayson Tatum – 24 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 3PM Derrick White – 20 points,
Norman Powell scored 23 points, James Harden had 19 points and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-89 on Thursday night.
One such name is Norman Powell, who is currently listed as QUESTIONABLE as he is dealing with back soreness. Powell has been a shining star for the Clippers since the departure of Paul George.
