A garbage truck operator who is a Concealed Carry License holder shot two would-be robbers, one fatally, on the city's West Side early Friday morning, Chicago police said.

Police found the body of Estrella Carrera, still in her wedding dress, just hours after her reception. Her new husband had already fled to Mexico.

Police said there was an exchange of gunfire between the attempted robbers and the victim, a concealed carry license holder.
