Aaron Glenn was hired to be their 19th full-time head coach on Wednesday. Glenn, who was the Jets’ first-round draft choice in 1994 and played eight seasons for the team, spent the past four years as the Lions defensive coordinator.

New York is on Tuesday finalizing the hirings Lance Newmark and Aaron Glenn to their general manager and head coach openings. Newmark comes with over 28 years of front office experience but never in the top GM chair.

Aaron Rodgers’ future with the New York Jets remains at a crossroads, as the final decision remains in owner Woody Johnson’s hands. Rodgers, meanwhile, is busy monitoring Californian wildfires.
