Katie Boulter becomes the sixth British player to win in this year's Australian Open singles draws - the most to reach the second round in the nation's history.

For the first time, six British players have won first-round matches but Boulter had to work extremely hard to join Jack Draper, Emma Raducanu, Jodie Burrage, Harriet Dart and Jacob Fearnley in round two.

Katie Boulter’s victory over Rebecca Marino at the Australian Open has secured a slice of history for Great Britain at the Grand Slam tournament. It marks the first time six British players have reached the second round at Melbourne Park across the men’s singles and women’s singles.
