The CIF State Wrestling Championships run from Thursday through Saturday and 11 wrestlers from the High Desert will make the trip to Bakersfield.

Citrus Valley’s Gia Coons joins Blanco in the 155-pound quarterfinals. She advanced with wins over Isabella Wyatt of Anderson (pin, 1:13) and No. 8-seeded Shyra Randle of Sacramento Natomas (pin, 5:24). Coons faces top-seeded Angelinah De Leon of Santa Clara in the quarterfinals.
