Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints legend, has spoken. On Monday morning, the Saints Hall of Fame quarterback spoke exclusively to The Times-Picayune about the team's head coaching search in addition to Super Bowl LIX coming to his adoptive home of New Orleans.

With the Dallas Cowboys hiring Brian Schottenheimer as head coach on Friday, the New Orleans Saints are the only NFL team that still has a head coaching job available. Now that there's no competition, they can take their time finding their next leader but have already interviewed a strong list of candidates.

The matchup for Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans will be finalized on Sunday after the AFC and NFC Championship Games. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will play for the AFC title and the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will play for the NFC crown.
