Islanders agree to one-year deal with veteran Matt Martin, place Anthony Duclair on LTIR
The Islanders and veteran LW Matt Martin have agreed to a one-year deal, the team announced Saturday. Martin, 35, will enter his 16th NHL season when he takes the ice this year. It will be his 14th year with the Islanders after the team originally drafted him in the fifth round of the 2008 NHL Draft.
