With the holidays firmly in the rearview mirror, the start of the spring movie season still months away, and much of the entertainment industry laser-focused on the Oscar race, January is often a barren time for new film releases.

New year, new Netflix. OK, yes, Netflix releases new shows, movies, specials, and more every month, every week, just about every day, but there are still key changes afoot for the streaming service in 2025, and January features several indicators as to what those changes may mean for subscribers.

Netflix is adding a bunch of great movies to its library in January 2025, including Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl and Interstellar.
