The next chapter in the Zombies story begins with Black Ops 6's Season 2. Today, Treyarch offered an early look at some of what we can expect.

Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch has announced plans to unveil a brand-new Zombies map as part of the 115 day celebrations.

As Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 readies for the release of Season 2 on 28th January, developer Treyarch has shared initial details of Zombies mode's next map, The Tomb - which plunges players deep beneath the earth, down into ancient catacombs.

Jan. 15, which is 1/15 in the US, has been a day where Treyarch shows off what’s coming next in Zombies, along with reliving the past in honor of Element 115 from the co-op mode. For its last mainline title, 2020’s Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch revealed Firebase Z as part of 115 Day in 2021, so it looks like that trend will continue.

A Black Ops 6 Zombies leak claims Treyarch has several unreleased maps that are set to launch throughout the remaining seasonal updates.

Black Ops 6's new Zombies map is called The Tomb, which will launch with the start of Season 2 on January 28. This map's narrative follows the events of the Citadelle des Morts main quest, with the characters headed to an excavation site in search of the Sentinel Artifact. A first look at the map can be seen in the image below.

In terms of gameplay, this new location is said to “provide an experience similar to Liberty Falls,” the bright, small-town map that launched with Black Ops 6 in October. Treyarch said this means “tighter play spaces with a focus on replayability” as players discover the many Easter eggs The Tomb hides.
