According to state police, Weeden was in contact with escapee Jermaine Donald by phone both before and after his jailbreak.

Of the 10 inmates who fled early that morning, five have been recaptured as of May 21 and are being held at the maximum-security Louisiana State Penitentiary.

Weeden faces one felony count of accessory after the fact, which carries the possibility of a fine up $500 and up to five years in prison, according to the state police release.

The event will be relocated to a yet-to-be-determined city and rescheduled for a future date. The city remains in partnership with WWE and will host UFC 318 in July 2025. WWE has canceled its 2026 WrestleMania event in the New Orleans Caesars Superdome and will hold its signature event in a city yet to be announced.
