Canada Prime Minister Trudeau 'Concerned' About TD Bank's Money-Laundering Woes
OTTAWA--Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says officials are working to ensure those responsible for lax money-laundering enforcement at TD Bank Group's U.S. units are held accountable. "Of course we are very concerned," Trudeau said in the legislature, in what is believed to be his first remarks on TD's settlement with U.S. authorities.
