Are kinguin keys LEGIT? : r/Kinguin - Reddit
Jun 2, 2022 · Hello guys, I was reading about kinguin but i'm not sure if its true. Basically i want to know if kinguin keys are legit or not, if they're bought by stolen cc cards and/or if the keys they sell are stolen from devs, and in case if my key isn't working, what can i do.

There isn't any protection, your buying directly from the seller. The "Protection" that Kinguin and G2A offer isn't worth anything either. If you scroll down about 2/3 down the page on this PCMR WIKI article, kindly created by the MODs you'll see a list of posts from 2015 and 2016 which show users getting jacked over by G2A and Kinguin.

Oct 7, 2023 · I bought a win11 pro oem key from kinguin. I was told it will work but it has to be entered on install. Cool, no problem. I install windows, put thr key in, accept the terms and go. Windows boots, I check activation and it's not active. I try and reenter the code, nothing. I try to troubleshoot it, nothing. It just says to buy a key from Microsoft.

Oct 22, 2023 · Presumably this means I need to do a clean install of W11 Pro. Problem is, I have a Nitro Acer 5 with a preinstalled W11 Home key. When I run the installer from Windows media creation tool it always reverts to home edition. I tried to install 10 Pro to upgrade from 10 to 11, but it also reverts to home edition.

Jan 19, 2020 · I tried using the Windows 10 Pro key I purchased recently and it said "Already in use". I thought I got scammed, emailed Kinguin, and they explained the process to me (albeit somewhat poorly explained). After further investigation I figured out the steps I needed to take and was able to activate it over the phone without any issues.

Nov 16, 2018 · After heading back to Kinguin they came to the conclusion “that the can’t overrule the sellers required information” so if I am unable to get this information I would just have bad luck. So I lost 40 euros buying a game that DOESN’T work and Kinguin isn’t willing to assist.
