Nov 2, 2011 · There are a few jet knocking on the 120 mph door that are not light weight river boats with full interior. By fast I mean 110-120 river boats (not nitro buring drag nasty set ups) I have a teflon stripped Littlefield 8 71 with a set of 1050's and a nice 468 bottom end that would be a great start for an 800+ hp set up.

Feb 9, 2009 · Small blocks can be impressive, their downfall is the lack of mid range torque due to the lower displacements, so they have to be allowed to spin. If set up right they can be downright fast, the key is hull setup, impeller selection and camshaft, the ZZ4 with a GMPP Hot cam runs pretty good in a jet. Check these out. ZZ4.

Jul 28, 2013 · Jet Boat top speed. Hows it goin, I recently rebuilt a 78 tahiti super tiger and installed a big block chevy I built for it, estimated around 500hp. I rebuilt the jet drive with an a impeller loader scoop with a place diverter and red insert cone. So far ive held it wide open for about 6 to 7 seconds and hit 63 MPH on a gps.
