💜 Today at Town Break Our second Toastie Thursday in Raploch felt like much more than a session. People arrived quietly at first, coats still cold from the weather and within minutes the room shifted - laughter, shared stories, a few brave dance moves and that gentle feeling of belonging that you can’t make up. 🥪 Good food helps, of course but it’s the connection that does the real work. Moments where someone’s face lights up. 😊Moments where conversation flows in a way it hasn’t for a while.

I visited Raploch today, in Stirling, to meet with different community groups who are supporting and working with households and families. Instead of just mitigating the symptoms of poverty, we need to tackle the root causes, many of which are multi-generational.
